Join beloved Whistler kids entertainer and performance coach Ira Pettle for a high-energy improv and acting workshop that’s all about fun, creativity, and connection. Through silly scenes, imaginative games, and spontaneous storytelling, kids will boost their confidence, strengthen communication and listening skills, and unleash their inner performer—all while having an absolute blast!
If “Kid Whisperer” were a job title, Ira Pettle would write the handbook. A Canadian-born entertainer and arts educator, Ira is a graduate of the Second City Conservatory and Randolph College for the Performing Arts. Known as “DJ Ira” in the Sea to Sky, he was named Whistler’s 2019 Champion of Arts and Culture. With a master’s in education, he’s taught improv, acting, and music to thousands. His debut children’s album, A Little Bit, was nominated for a WCMA, with a new record coming in fall 2025.
