Founded in 2017 by Sarah Scheunhage, The Rising – Victoria Centre for Circus Arts brings the magic of circus to life. Sarah’s journey began in 2001 as an aerialist and acrobat with The Underground Circus in Vancouver. Over the years, she has performed across Canada and internationally in Turkey, China, and the USA for cruise ships, theme parks, TV shows, resorts, and more. After two decades of performing, Sarah returned to Westshore (Langford) to establish The Rising and share her passion for circus arts.
